Retention Regimentm

GAAP's Retention Regimentm is an outgrowth of our hands-on style. It has been enthusiastically endorsed by clients who regard it as an invaluable service that distinguishes GAAP from other search firms. The underpinning philosophy is that recruiting is a process, not an event.

We initiate our Retention Regimentm when our candidate starts. First, we ensure that there is an effective orientation and integration for the executive, and that performance expectations and timelines are clearly defined and understood. This helps the individual get out of the gate quickly.

Then, given the correlation between job satisfaction, performance and retention, we use our Job Satisfaction Indextm (JSI) to assess the executive’s job satisfaction. The results are reviewed with the executive’s superior or with the Board of Directors. This facilitates and encourages performance- and retention-focused discussions. We conduct a JSI assessment annually with every executive we recruit for every client.

Using our Job Performance Indextm (JPI), we review the executive's performance with our client on a recurring basis to ensure that objectives are being met and that the individual's value to the organization is being maximized.

The Retention Regimentm permits GAAP to sustain a meaningful partnership with clients and add recurring value.

In support of that, GAAP has a formal "Hands-Off" Policy.
